PRESS RELEASE

LAGOS VOLUNTEERS CELEBRATE WITH MUSLIMS ON THE OCCASION OF EID EL FITRI

Lagos State Volunteer Coordinators Group (LSVCG) the umbrella body for all volunteer groups in Lagos has congratulated muslims across the globe on successful completion of this year's Ramadan fast and Eid El Fitri Celebration.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the group Hon Kabir Folorunso, he enjoined muslim faithfuls to continue with the good deeds carried out throughout the period of Ramadan as that was the only way to ensure peace and tranquillity.

He noted that peaceful coexistence and fervent prayers among citizens were essential in the face of the current economic and security challenges confronting the country.

He called on muslims to continue to follow the teachings and practise of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and extend hand of fellowship to their neighbours.

He however urged all members of LSVCG across the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs to continue to be good ambassador of Lagos state.
