BREAKING NEWS: President Buhari Supports El-Rufai’s planned sack of 22,000 Kaduna teachers



In order to reform primary education, in Kaduna State, President Muhammadu Buhari has thrown his weight behind Governor Nasir El-Rufai who is bent on reforming the educational system in the state, Premium Times reports.

According to the reports, the governor had announced plans to sack about 22,000 teachers who failed a competency test.

The move has been condemned by labour unions in the state as well as a senator from there.

President Buhari expressed his stance at a special retreat of the Federal Executive Council in Abuja, Premium Times gathered.

This issue has since been a subject of debates across conventional and non-conventional media.
