The chairmanship candidate of the APC in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Comrade Valentine Buraimoh has unveiled his development plans to the people of the local government. Addressing the party loyalists in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, yesterday, Buraimoh promised to transform the Amuwo community if elected as the Executive Chairman of the council in the July 22, 2017 local government elections across the state. 

Top on the transformational agenda of Valentine include; security, healthcare, education, infrastructure, environment, good governance and economy. He promised to embark on massive construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, construction and maintenance of quality public boreholes for quality water supply, more recreation centers, construction and maintenance of schools, primary healthcenters, an Ultra Modern market and maintenance of existing ones, provision of police post at riverine communities and electricity for riverine communities. 

In the area of health, the chairmanship candidate promised free health care services for children and the old, support for the physically challenged in the Local Government, improved public private partnership system as started by comrade Adewale Ayodele’s administration, especially with the pharmaceutical and laboratory professionals. 

Valentine, kicking off his campaign train, assured residents of the Local government that he will bring his political experience to bear in bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots if elected as the council chairman in the poll. According to him, “As the former Head of Operations and later Supervisor for Works under comrade Ayodele Adewale’s – led administration, I am politically informed to translate good governance into dividends of democracy to the enlightened people of Amuwo Odofin Local government”.

 He therefore, called on the electorate to vote massively for APC during the election, adding that it is only APC that will continue to ameliorate people’s sufferings and consolidate on the developmental projects which are already in existence in the council. He however, called on the group who have been antagonizing his candidacy to close rank with him in ,moving the council and by extension Lagos State to greater heights, saying, “Its only in the atmosphere of peace, love and unity we can achieve lofty heights.
