Tinubu Conspicuously Absent from Yesterday's Ministers Inauguration

All Progressives Congress (APC ) strongman Bola Tinubu was on Wednesdayconspicuously absent at the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s new cabinet.

Though no reason was given for his absence by the party, top APC source said the development may not be unconnected with the split in the party and the manner in which the ministers were nominated.

Sources said Mr. Tinubu was not consulted by the President in the selection process a development that may have strained the relationship between him and the president.

Despite his absence at the inauguration, top APC stalwarts led by the party’s chairman Mr. Odigie Oyegun graced the ceremony.

Other top APC Leaders at the ceremony included the Senate President Bukola Saraki, Chief Bisi Akande, Mr. Niyi Adebayo and Segun Oni.
