Coordinator of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, DSVRT, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi in an interview with Vanguard, said that the government is wading into the case to ensure that the victim gets justice.

Her words: “The victim has been taken into protective custody. We believe that with this, she will be protected while the investigation is concluded.

“We know that the police have arrested one of the suspects. But on our own part, we will be embarking on investigation. That was why we have demanded that the case file be transferred to the State Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.”
